Sharing Imperfect Stories...
That little icon you see all around the site- that’s Firelight.
It’s an emblem, a reminder that throughout history humans have always shared, commiserated and chronicled our lives by way of telling stories around a fire.
Sure the fire has been different, whether it bit a warming campfire or a OLED TV…
And sure, the stories aren’t always agreed upon…
But the feeling of community and union have always been the goal and the outcome.
The Homegrown Short Film Showcase strives to be the fire in the centre of the community.
A place to share imperfect stories with the intent to grow and learn from those around us!
