How do I submit?
To submit, please check out the our FilmFreeway page. If you have any questions about submitting or if you are a student or cannot pay the full admission cost, please contact us and we will respond ASAP.
When do I submit?
The inaugural Homegrown Short Film Showcase will take place on Oct. 17, 2024. Submissions for the inaugural event open on Feb. 1, 2024, with a deadline of Aug. 1, 2024.
Starting in 2025, the Showcase will happen twice per year in the spring and fall. Keep an eye on our website for up-to-date info and deadlines.
What kinds of media do you accept?
We keep it simple – it must be under 20 minutes, appropriate for general viewership (no raunchy stuff), and non-promotional.
We accept:
- Short Films
- Short Docs
- Music Videos
- Animation
- Experimental Media
- Serialized Shorts
- And, more!
