Create – We’re Creating a space and a stage for new and emerging filmmakers to get the spotlight they deserve! Homegrown is Screening four films along with Q&A Sessions with each filmmaker!

Connect – Mixing industry professionals and new filmmakers, we will have two networking sessions designed to spark and continue conversations!

Inspire – We strive to inspire a new generation of filmmakers and provide opportunities for existing filmmakers to grow!

Day 2: HomegrownYYC and Mank’ay Film Academy International Film Premieres!

Mank’ay empowers aspiring filmmakers from all walks of life in Ibarra and across Ecuador with cutting-edge education, top-tier equipment, and invaluable networking opportunities, opening doors to endless creative possibilities!

Homegrown is thrilled to premiere the first films from the Academy’s inaugural filmmaking class, diving into the rich and diverse world of “Food” and everything it represents!
